The Indian cricket Board's power base has been shifted to Mumbai from Kolkata . And the Mumbai boy Wasim Jaffer made a wild card entry in 3^rd test in Ahmedabad against Sri Lanka replacing Sourav of Kolkata. Sourav Ganguly turned out to be  a victim of BCCI politics. The talented left-hander's removal from Test squad was 'motivated' and 'guided' by reasons other than cricket. It seems that Pawar lobby is fighting against Dalmia lobby and Ganguly is the pawn !

When Ganguly was kept out of the one-day squad, some people put forth the argument that a winning combination shouldn't be disturbed. Then how come Ganguly has been axed only hours after India won the Test? Experts say performance has not been the criterion for his removal. There is something other than cricket behind this decision. It defies logic.

Bindra alleged that Sourav Ganguly is being used as a sacrificial lamb by Jagmohan Dalmiya. A former BCCI president, Dalmiya, is said to be very close to Ganguly, but the PCA chief claims that it is just an illusion. If he is really so close , then why Ganguly was axed in Dalmia's tenure !

See how deftly Sourav's exit was maneuvered. If the board was interested in sorting out the spat between Greg and Sourav ,its president or any other senior officials should have rushed to Zimbabwe the moment the coach and the captain started fighting openly. Moreover, why such a confidential and explosive e-mail was asked to be sent to so many people! Board never stopped this incident , never took any decisive stance at the onset.Instead, enjoyed it to the hilt !
