Sunte Banerjee was taken in England tour in 40' .but he did not get chance to play. He scored run 369 and wicket 40 against different county teams ,still management did not bother.he then waited for 10 yrs ..again England tour  .

      He ,against  WI in brabourne stadium got 5 wkets but got removed from next match ..never got chance.

Shaymsundar Mitra, Gopal Basu , Sambaran Banerjee, Utpal Chatterjee are few names who suffer a lot despite having  talent for representing national side .

Dilip Doshi , a very talented leg spinner also had the same fate who during tenure ofSunil Gavaskar , was denied of Indain cap several times for no reason !regionalism played a bigger rolein indain cricket  and "amchi Mumbai" lobby always those days dictated indian cricket and narrowed entry of others in indian side.

Subrata Banerjee  took three   major wickets including mark taylor , waugh  in 91-92 series in australia against home team .but for no cricketing reason the then captain Md.Azharuddin axed him in next match . Bengal is always a easy target when any deprivation in team selection happens . We thought that with Sourav Ganguly those black days are over !We are terribly mistaken !! Those black days are back!
