Almost Fifteen years back Mohindar Amarnath called
him “Joker” .
The joker of Indian cricket still maintains his
status quite convincingly !
In Anti –sourav movement definitely Raj can fight
with Shastri and Harsha for top spot .
When he was asked for the first time immediate after
drop of Sourav in Ahmedabad ,
3rd test he told to journalists surprising them ; --- it is a
wrong decision of dropping ganguly after delhi test since Sourav played
quite well in Kotla ! Situation was different when sourav was dropped
earlier. But this time he performed! Really so Raj ! We could not believe
our ear!
But it’s for time being!! The real Raj came out
immediately after some time when he told a pvt . TV chanel that the
decision of selection committee is unanimous and if Board president ,
Pawar intervene , it will be really a disastrous instance for Indian
cricket !
Yes ! we know this Raj only . We are happy now with
this consistent Raj . But Journos caught him immediately by asking why he
changed his stance so fast!
Reply: Raj-like! He said that now he is 85 yrs of age and he should not be blamed
for that reason !!
